Wow!  What a show Bruce and the E Street Band played last night in San Jose, CA.  But even before the actual show started, the band soundchecked the following songs: “Fire”, “Out in the Street”, “I’ll Work For Your Love”, “Held Up Without a Gun”, and “Bobby Jean.”  So as you can see, we had an idea of how great this show was going to be before Bruce even counted off!

As for the actual show, “Out in the Street” was a great, high energy opener and came as a surprise to just about everybody in the house.  I personally love how Bruce has been keeping the opening slot as much of a mystery as possible.  Of course, the radio contest winner “Fire” came as another tour premiere along with “Bobby Jean” which was played in the encore.

Now we have to wait and see if Bruce gives Miami Steve his wish and goes ahead with the soundchecked “Held Up Without a Gun” at somepoint as the “Magic” tour continues.  The next show will be Monday night in Anaheim, CA!
