Rumors, Rumors, Rumors…
As of now, the United States summer schedule for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s “Magic” tour is still a mystery with the exception of a few shows already annoucned:
July 27th, 2008 - Giants Stadium - East Rutherford, NJ
July 28th, 2008 - Giants Stadium - East Rutherford, NJ
July 31st, 2008 - Giants Stadium - East Rutherford, NJ
August 2nd, 2008 - Gillette Stadium - Foxborough, MA
August 30th, 2008 - The Roadhouse at the Lakefront - Milwaukee, WI
Other cities including Philadelphia, PA and Washington, DC (area) are expected to have their show(s?) announced shortly. In Philadelphia, the band is expected to play Lincoln Financial Field in mid-August; the Washington shows are expected to take place about a week later. It is also entirely possible that the band may play an extra show or two at Giants Stadium a bit later in August (but of course, this will depend on ticket sales).
Judging by the more recent shows on this arena leg of the tour, the summer shows should be a blast for the die-hards. Here are just some of the rare treats that Springsteen has pulled out of his hat for this second United States run:
Atalntic City
For You
Lost in the Flood
None But the Brave
Point Blank
Sherry Darling
Trapped
You’ll Be Comin’ Down
Come on summer!
